Translation of Patriji's discourse. Part 1
We learn about sin, repentance, penance and atonement. It is said in the Bhagavad Gita that if you do not know the sin you are committing, it means you need knowledge.
Knowledge is created by our experiences. We learn lessons only when events happen in our lives. It is the experiences that give us knowledge.
No one can force a person not to learn from a lesson. Knowledge does not reach him until he himself says that he is ready to learn.
Understanding why these things are happening in my life is wisdom. No one can force anyone. Everything should happen of their own free will.
The fruits of our actions will reach us. A boy studied medicine against his will. He did not pass even after ten years. His father was upset.
But no one could make him pass. It is possible only if he wants to. Each person should learn their own lessons.
A pyramid teacher in West Bengal filed a case in court when someone else encroaches on the land he bought in his village.
Later, during his meditation, he came to know that in the past, he had evicted his landlord from his house. He is currently suffering because of that.
Another person came to Tamil Nadu and meditated and felt that if he helped build a pyramid there, a pyramid would be built in his village, so he helped build the pyramid here.
The pyramid was built in his village. If you do good, good will happen. If you sin, you will get its consequences.
Even if you sin, the remorse that arises within us afterwards and the penance we do for it is wisdom.
